Southern Arizona Families with Children from China (SAFCC) is a volunteer run, non-profit organization whose purpose is twofold: to educate by providing cultural resources, services, and activities to prospective, waiting, and adoptive families of Chinese children, as well as friends within the community - including but not limited to individuals, families, groups, and organizations who share SAFCC's goals and objectives; and second, charitable initiatives, as approved by the Executive Board of Directors, that meet the needs of Chinese children throughout the world.

SAFCC is part of a national support organization that has chapters throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

SAFCC began as a non-profit organization in 2000 and is centered in the Tucson area. SAFCC sponsors a variety of mentoring programs, playgroups, educational programs and child-centered events throughout the membership year.
